Tomorrow’s match programme against Ayr United

Ayr United are the visitors to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill tomorrow for the third meeting of the season between the Jags and the Honest Men.

Ahead of the clash with Ayr, Programme co-editor, Christopher Dobie spoke to Jags attacker Andréa Mbuyi-Mutombo about his career to date which has seen him play football in no fewer than four different countries.

“Personally, I’m a traveller. I love going around the world and learning about new cultures in life and in football.

“I think that’s a very important thing because if you stay in your comfort zone then you don’t challenge your own view on life and you’ll carry on believing your way of life is the only way when actually there are so many different mindsets.

“When I got the offer from Croatia, I went to have a look at the club, Rijeka, and I decided to go there. I thought why not push myself, learn a new language and develop my football in a new atmosphere?”

Read the full and exclusive interview with Andréa ONLY in tomorrow’s official matchday programme which will be available for purchase from our programme sellers around the stadium ahead of kick-off.
