Partick Thistle FC is a well-established and passionately supported football club, based in Glasgow and operating for more than 140 years. The Club has enjoyed a sustained period of top flight competition in recent years, including its highest league finish for more than 35 years in the 2016/2017 season.
Looking forward, the Club has achieved consistent positive development off the field and has a promising future supported by a thriving youth development programme. Recent publicity through commercial partnerships & stadium sponsorship, as well as the global recognition of club mascot “Kingsley”, has brought positive media attention to the Club. The Club’s aim is to continue supporting a competitive playing staff through sustainable growth in its commercial and community operations.
The Club is seeking the appointment of a new Chief Executive, tasked with delivering on ambitious performance targets whilst maintaining organisational stability.
With the backing of a strong Board and well-established network of support, this position will take full leadership responsibility for the daily operations, financial management, football liaison and commercial activity of the football club and its associated projects.
This individual will possess excellent communication skills, personal integrity and commercial understanding. A track record of leadership at senior management level in football or professional sports administration is essential, coupled with the strong personality required to thrive in a highly visible performance-related environment.
