Partick Thistle can today confirm that Aaron Muirhead has signed a one year contract extension to the end of the 2023/24 season, subject to SFA approval.
The 32-year-old central defender is in the middle of his second spell as a Jag having returned to Firhill last summer featuring regularly in 2022/23 making 43 appearances and netting three goals.
Under the management of Kris Doolan, Aaron was a virtual ever present in a Jags side which recorded 12 clean sheets in 19 games during a frantic ending to a lengthy campaign.
With pre-season set to get underway next week, the experienced defender has put pen to paper on a new contract which will see him remain in Maryhill for the next 12 months.
Aaron will wear squad number 5 for the 2023/24 campaign.
