Club to provide free supporters buses for Aberdeen cup tie

Reaching the Premier Sports Cup Quarter Finals on Tuesday night has continued a fine start to the season for Ian McCall’s side. The effort shown on the pitch to ensure the side can reach the last eight of a national cup competition was matched by the fantastic support provided by the Red and Yellow Army.

The draw has set up a tantalising tie against Aberdeen as Thistle battle for the right to go to Hampden for a cup semi final for the first time in 20 years.

The PTFC Trust approached the Club to ask if we could provide funding for supporters’ buses for this huge cup tie. To allow as many supporters as possible can make it to the Premier Sports Cup Quarter-Final we agreed that we will be covering the cost of supporters’ buses for the City Centre, John Lambie Jordanhill and North-West branches for this match. With the October school holidays in effect for this week, we hope this will help family groups to make this long midweek trip to support the side during financially difficult times.

Places on these buses are completely free but booking is essential.

If you usually travel on one of the existing supporters buses then please book your place in the usual way. Details of contacts for each of the branches are available here.

Please note alcohol is strictly forbidden on all buses. Anyone trying to bring alcohol onto the bus or found to be consuming alcohol on the bus will be ejected from the bus, with no exceptions.
