The annual Partick Thistle Open Day returns for the new season and will take place on Saturday August 10th, the day after Thistle’s first home game of the Ladbrokes Championship season against Dundee United. Young and old, season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders, all Jags fans are invited to the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill for the event, which is, once again, completely FREE.
The fun-filled family day kicks off at 11am with football mini games and even a chance to venture onto the canal with our friends at Scottish Rowing, that’s as well as loads of fun activities for all ages. We’ll also have stalls from the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust and the Partick Thistle Football Club Trust.
If footballing skills aren’t your strong point, there will be plenty of entertainment with a face painter and live music. And, if that’s too much effort, you can simply relax with some tasty ice cream and enjoy the open training session that will be hosted by our guest stadium announcer, Radio Clyde’s very own Gavin Pearson.
So save the date in your diary for an action-packed Saturday Jags fest at the Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.
Timings for the open day are as follows:
11:00 – The Jackie Husband Stand opens to supporters.
12:00 – The open training session begins with the First Team and Partick Thistle Women’s Team.
13:30 – Signing session in the Jackie Husband concourse. Meet all the Thistle players as well as Gary Caldwell, Brian Kerr and Kenny Arthur.
14:30 – Partick Thistle Football Club Trust meeting.
15:00 – Meet the Manager in the Alan Rough Lounge for a question and answer session.
Hope to see you there!
