The Scottish Roads Partnership has informed the club that, in order to perform essential bridge maintenance at Raith Bridge there will be a contraflow in place between Bothwell Services and Hamilton Services which is expected to result in delays during peak traffic periods.
The information, available in full here, states that:
“A contraflow system is planned on the M74 motorway approaches to Junction 5 Raith Junction from 8pm on Tuesday 16 July 2019. It will consist of the north and southbound carriageways being reduced to two lanes in each direction, for a period of approximately ten days.”
If this is your route to the match on Saturday please plan ahead, leaving plenty of time for your journey and use alternative modes of transport where possible.
