What happens when on matchday

There’s always a lot happening at the Wyre Stadium at Firhill on a match day. Timings are approximate as follows, but are subject to change so please check the website and/or programme for any updates.

 

12noon:


Tickets go on sale for home fans from the Firhill Road Executive Offices. This closes at 1:30pm when sales move to the portable ticket office at the Jackie Husband Stand.

Aitken Suite opens for hot bar food and refreshments.

Guests arrive for matchday hospitality in the Alan Rough Lounge.

1.30pm:


Tickets for home fans are on sale from the portable ticket office outside the Jackie Husband Stand.

2pm:


Turnstiles open.

Food kiosks open.

PTFC shop opens on Firhill Road.

Kingsley, Thistle’s world famous mascot, arrives.

2.30pm:


Teams warm up on the pitch.

Police Scotland may close Firhill Road to through traffic until kick off depending on crowd size.

2.55pm:


Teams are led out by Thistle’s mascots, big and small.

3pm:


Kick-off.

The Aitken Suite closes, as does the PTFC shop.

3.45pm:


The half-time draw is conducted pitchside.

4pm:


Game restarts.

4.45pm:


Full-time.

The Aitken Suite reopens.

Police Scotland may close Firhill Road to through traffic for a short time depending on crowd size.

5pm:


The Playerzone opens in the Aitken Suite (subject to player availability).

6pm:


Alan Rough Lounge hospitality closes.

6.30pm:


The Aitken Suite closes.
